Bridging Disciplines for Future-Ready Graduates
Professor Yiu explained that CDS’s interdisciplinary approach bridges the traditional gaps between computing and statistical sciences. By combining the strengths of both fields, CDS equips students with robust programming skills and a strong mathematical foundation—essential for tackling complex challenges in artificial intelligence, data science, and emerging technologies. The school’s curriculum is professionally accredited, industry-aligned, and designed to balance theoretical knowledge with practical application.
Delta+ Tech Immersion Fellowship: Cross-Border Innovation and Experience
Professor Yiu also introduced the new Delta+ Tech Immersion Fellowship, which offers top-performing 6999 students the unique opportunity to complete part of their studies and internships in Shanghai, immersing them in one of the world’s most dynamic technology ecosystems. Through Delta+, students will gain valuable international exposure, collaborate with leading research teams and startups, and deepen their understanding of cross-border innovation. This further strengthens CDS’s commitment to nurturing global tech leaders.
Mandatory AI Literacy for All Undergraduates
